This paper has a double-sided crepe but with a lower height. The surface area is slightly larger than that of a single-sided crepe, which means that the adhesion area for the coffee particles is also larger. In the first phase of the brewing process, when adhesion
The coffee particles are not so large, the water can flow smoothly. In the second phase, their adhesion becomes greater, which begins to slow down the water flow. High water flow speed in the first phase and slow water flow in the second phase brings out the sweetness of the coffee and enhances the body.

  • The roller rotates faster than the drying drum, thanks to the difference in rotational speed (the difference is greater than in the case of Light Roast Paper), the wet paper loosens on the squeegee and a high crepe is created on both sides of the paper web. Then the paper web is dried on a drying drum, which reduces the height of the crepe and is lower than in the case of non-contact drying (Abaca and Medium Dark Roasting Filters).
